It’s an undisputed fact that comic Bill Maher is a liberal. One of the things that makes him unique is the fact that he is able to spot the hypocrisy that exists on the left and is not afraid to point it out when he sees it.
While the media focused on the story of what Maher spoke about on Friday regarding the famous “slap” by Will Smith and his wife's alopecia ,there was another topic Maher covered but didn't receive the same amount of coverage from the media, and it's clear why. He was speaking of their involvement in the Hunter Biden scandal. It wasn't just about what Hunter did, but the question of influence-peddling as well as the scandal surrounding the media's efforts to cover it up. They didn't want to let that information to be exposed prior to the election because it would have hurt the story they wanted to create about Joe Biden.
The liberal media was fully involved, trying to promote the image of a nice old Joe Biden who's set to restore “norms” after President Donald Trump had so upset them by his sexist tweets. Therefore, they sought to shut down anything that might discredit that myth. Videos of his children smoking crack and emails discussing “10 percent for the big guy,” and even talking about blackmail threats from Russians and a prostitute can definitely sabotage the image.
We in the conservative media have been told all the details earlier. Would Maher have known about this information before? Sure. But unless he read conservative news, he wasn't getting any real information on the laptop from the liberal media. It's also not the job of the expert journalist. It was the obligation of the media and liberals to be honest and to fulfill their duty. They did not. However, the more people who are able to confront the reality of the subject, the higher chance of having the issue be addressed. He can also get liberals to listen to those who, until present, have been told that the laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

“I recall reading about this some time back, when The New York Post came across… Hunter Biden's computer that was left at a repair shop. I had no idea that it existed. If anyone could be able to not share their computer with anyone else that would have to be Hunter Biden just for the personal things,” Maher said. “But there was also a section about how it's true that he's a do-no-good. Sorry, Hunter Biden, but you're… you earned an income as a ne'er-do well who earned money because you were vice president's son and were influential.”
“He got, I think $4.8, yes, million from Chinese energy companies to sit on the board and consult. Yeah, that was his passion in life,” Maher laughed. Exploration, exploring with hookers was his passion.” [….]
Maher added, “So the New York Post got a hold of what was in the computer. And, you know, because the New York Post is a Republican paper, and The New York Times and The Washington Post are the Democratic paper[s ]… And the Republican paper, Twitter… canceled their account! They can't even report on this story. And now two years later, The New York Times and The Washington Post have come around and say, ‘Okay, there was something there.'”
The HBO star admitted that the laptop scandal ought to have been treated with the “giant thing of salt” considering that The New York Post retrieved it from Trump allies Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon, but “not two years.”
“It looks like the left-wing media just buried the story because it wasn't part of their narrative and that's why people don't trust the media,” Maher stated.
Bingo. It's also good to point out the way Twitter shut down accounts of NY Post and prevented the report from spreading. This is the part liberals must hear but are still not getting, even with some media outlets now acknowledging that the laptop is actually real. Maher has acquired a lot of information about the media in the past few years. You can see the difference in his reporting and how it has changed. Maher has evolved since he resisted the Democrats radical shift towards the left.
