There's been a fascinating question floating around the air for months concerning President Joe Biden and the White House. Why did Biden's team set up a brand new “stage” in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the West Wing, rather than just filming him from the Oval Office when he needs to make a statement, as all the other presidents before him did?
Ideas have been exchanged on the reasons, speculating that the main reason they needed to put up the stage in this manner was to take into account Joe Biden's huge weaknesses. It's too difficult, and there's not enough space to redesign the Oval Office with teleprompters so that he can be aware of what he's expected to say at any given time. Therefore, they had to create the concept of a “reality show” to provide an area where they could put all the things that Biden needs to assist him. Talk about the real reality TV star: not Donald Trump but Joe Biden. President Trump did not require such assistance or a specially equipped arena.
This was an accurate guess based on Joe's obvious problems. Now those ideas are being confirmed. Hidden in a Politico article about a possible rematch in 2024 between Biden and Trump is an admission that Biden “permanently” needs a teleprompter. Why is this so humiliating?
According to Politico, the White House has largely abandoned the Oval Office for press events, partly because it can’t be permanently equipped with a teleprompter. Biden’s advisers favor using the faux White House stage built in the Old Executive Office Building next door for special events and sacrifice part of the capacity of the original backdrop to create an otherwise clean room equipped with a simple teleprompter screen.
And there it is: They're admitting they can’t put all the equipment in the Oval Office they require to provide constant assistance to Joe Biden so that he can quickly comprehend.
We can see that it's the most common issue they face while on the road. Biden is constantly looking with his eyes and skipping over what his teleprompter reads, partly because he's lost but also because he's not able to grasp what's going on. They have control over only some things in the White House, and when they travel, it becomes more problematic. The situation is getting worse, and there's only so much they can do.
