White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said on CNN Sunday that he will not be serving in the position in the event that Donald Trump regains the White House in 2024. A note to Doctor Fauci: Trump would not request you to be a part of the White House and would, in reality, likely kick you to the streets the first day back in the White House.
The top doctor, who was being interviewed by Acosta, simply laughed and replied “well, no” when asked if he'd like to be a part of the Don’s administration ever again. He said:
“If you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think, you know, at best, you can say it wasn't optimal. History will speak for itself about that.”
It is true that the COVID responses have been quite horrible since Trump quit his post. The claim that it is the fault of Trump for everything is untrue. One of the few things that have remained constant in the outbreak has been the constant appearances on television by Fauci. The Biden administration has been in place since the beginning of the disease and it's not going well. More COVID deaths have been reported under Biden's leadership than that of Trump's.
The Biden administration also said that it is “a liberating feeling” to be working with Biden rather than Trump. I'm guessing this is because Trump was actually trying for a way to maintain America at a level that was as regular as it could be and Biden's administration can be required to endorse virtually any restrictive policy Fauci proposes.
Fauci also explained the reasons why it was so difficult to be a part of the Trump administration:
“I can tell you I take no pleasure at all in being in a situation of contradicting the president, so it was really something that you didn't feel you could actually say something and there wouldn't be any repercussions about it,” he stated at the time.
“The idea that you can get up here and talk about what you know, what the evidence and science is, and know that's it — let the science speak — it is somewhat of a liberating feeling,” Fauci said.
The real issue lies with his claims. Fauci hasn't always adhered to science, rather, Fauci often ignores it. He began lying right away in the beginning and claimed to know absolutely that Wuhan was an actual virus, when in reality, there was evidence to suggest that it was created in a lab.
Fauci also stated on March 20, 2020 in the initial stage of the pandemic that we should not wear masks. “There's no reason to be walking around with a mask,” the scientist said.
The truth is that it was a lie. He was hoarding masks for doctors.
Who could forget Fauci's words “15 days to stop the spread?” (Yes, Trump backed the recommendation; however, the recommendation came from Fauci and Co. who suggested the idea.) It's been more than 800 days since we started experiencing it and children in New York City are still required to wear masks at school. In the meantime, the Biden Administration hasn't yet repealed the COVID national Public Health Emergency. The number of people who have overdosed rose by 15 percent in the last year. Coincidence? I doubt it. Locking down for months isn't doing great things for people's mental health. RealClearPolitics summarizes the mistakes in a devastating way:
After that … you're gonna need to wait until it happens … Many studies found that lockdowns in Europe as well as the U.S. did not provide any benefits.
A list of Saint Fauci's lies and blunders continues. If Trump is elected again and wins, Fauci would be canned within a matter of minutes, and his remarks are sloppy at the very least. We'd sincerely applaud his decision to leave the job if Trump succeeds and would indeed be delighted if he left the position right now.
