If the new progressive talk hasn't been noticed, it's similar to the hundreds of thought-pieces by talking heads out there promoting the amazing benefits that can be expected from a gradual phasing out of whites as the dominant American demographic–even by President Joe Biden himself. Republicans who have viewed this idea as wrong are considered by the Left to be racists. According to MSNBC host Donny Deutsch, they must be labeled as such.
Here we are. It's not just the lack of a mask that signals your inability to conform to the liberal order of the world. It's now a mark that is etched into your skin, letting everyone know that you're wrong in your thinking. And, of course, you are naturally averse to people with different skin tones. This is extremely tricky since the Left has been thrilled about the possibility of a declining white population. There are many examples. Joe Biden himself, in 2015, outlined that there is an “unrelenting” stream of immigration that ultimately helps reduce the white European stock. “That's not a bad thing,” Biden clearly stated.
But thanks to the Buffalo murderer's manifesto, in which the shooter claimed Communism, left-authoritarianism, and the so-called “great replacement theory” as ideological drivers behind his actions, the weird narrative shift has begun. Particularly, because Fox’s Tucker Carlson had the temerity to discuss “the theory” on his talk show as something that the Left believes in and is trying to bring into practice. (It was a little over one year ago that Tucker Carlson first eagerly ripped off his mask.) “I know that the left and all the little gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term ‘replacement,' if you suggest for the Democratic Party is trying to replace the current electorate, the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters from the Third World,” the political commentator said on April 20, 2021. “But they become hysterical because that's what's happening, actually.”
Now it's bad. The progressive Left seems to answer to nobody, not even to its former self. All of this does suggest that a lower number of whites in America is neither positive nor negative. It’s likely the situation will go on as it always has in the past, with races mixing through the process of marriage and birth. In the early part of the century, Italians and Irish, who were fighting each other on the streets of New York City, were also debating their respective “races” when those cultures started to mix. It's not about race, but rather about the fundamentals that drive this amazing exercise of representative democracy. We've been there before, and ironically, old Joe is correct: It's been a reason for our strength. The reason he's not right is that he believes that the best method to get a “great replacement” is to open the Southern border and disperse illegal immigrants into cities that they'd like to see turn blue. Chaos is not a very good strategy and is a sign of desperation.
The most troubling aspect of this is Joe and his party’s attempt to alter the entire narrative, as they try to “brand” people as racists for simply noting the things they (progressives) have promoted as positive. Because “racist” has become their final, most effective hope for getting people to turn away from conservatism. It's not working. Now we've been greeted with “thought leaders” like Deutsch using old slavery stereotypes such as “branding” (remember “they're gonna put y'all back in chains!”? ).
It's disgusting. However, it seems that more and more people appear to be waking up to the extremely anti-American tradition of lying to your face whenever it's convenient for you, which people on the Left love to do. There's also research suggesting that even minorities tend to become more conservative as the number of minority groups increases.
In their latest paper, Craig and Richeson (in press) have exposed minority groups that are not Hispanic (e.g. blacks, Asians) in the U.S. to information suggesting that (a) Hispanic populations are increasing or (b) individuals are relocating but are not necessarily increasing in size (i.e. an indicator of a controlled situation). The results show an obvious pattern. Like whites in the past, when they learn that other racial categories are expanding in size, minorities of racial origin tend to shift and become more conservative in the way they think. The shrinking of a group puts those who are part of that minority in jeopardy. This is a reason why people are compelled to accept the status quo, which emphasizes traditions and reliance on the intergroup hierarchy.
So why do they need to turn to lies? It's not the shrinking of the white population that is the real issue. It's the declining number of progressives.
