As we reported, 9 CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert producers, staffers and writers were arrested on June 16, for violating the Longworth Congressional Office Building within the Capitol. My colleague Nick Arama informed us that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) who is member in the Jan. 6 Committee and Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.) were involved in a close manner:
According to Watters, a Congressional source has told them that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) (one of the Jan. 6 Committee members) let them in as well as Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA).

The following day, Just the News reported that Rep. Auchincloss' chief of staff was also involved in incidents at the Capitol which involved Republican legislator Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Geo.)
Capitol Police found Massachusetts Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss's Chief of Staff defacing posters in the Capitol complex office of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and then referred him for criminal charges. But that same U.S. Attorney's office that investigated those Jan. 6 defendants refused to authorize the warrant for arrest, based on police reports and interviews.
Police and Auchincloss confirmed on Monday that the office of the congressman was involved in permitting comedian Steven Colbert's production crew access to the Capitol complex last week, in an incident that resulted in concern over security, and ultimately the arrests of seven of the Colbert team.
In the past, Taylor Greene hung a controversial poster in her office, which read, “There Are TWO Genders: Male & Female, ‘Trust the Science',” which angered the lawmakers around her and attracted much media attention. It appears that Hysom, who has been with the leadership of both Shifty Schiff as well as Auchincloss, is now willing to do the dirty work to shield their fingerprints from this.
The Joke-6 of the debate is one of a political snoozefest which no one can be watching. Schiff and Auchincloss were required to add some spice.
While we wait, Adam Schiff is going on Sunday's shows and claims there is evidence to prove that Trump has engineered Joke-6. We haven't heard of this before.
It is impossible to make this information up.
It's not a matter of fact that the same damage and trespassing that was caused by the protesters on January 6 2021, also committed through the Colbert Crew on June 16 as well as Hysom in March. However, in contrast to the J6 defendants who were not given due process and some are still in jail, Hysom and the Colbert Crew are not. Hysom and the Colbert Crew were released on bail, and have returned to their jobs and, in the case of Hysom, no charges will be brought.
Capitol Police asked federal prosecutors in March to issue an order of arrest for Timothy Hysom, 51, who was a long-time Democrat staffer in the House, who was employed by Rep. Adam Schiff before becoming Auchincloss's most senior adviser, after the latter spotted Hysom on security camera hidden footage of posters of Greene with stickers bearing religious messages, according to an arrest warrant obtained through Just the News.
Police believe Hysom could be involved in seven poster vandalism cases located outside the office of Greene in the Longworth Congressional Office Building between January and March, and that he refused to be interviewed after being asked. Hysom was offered the opportunity to have a “non-custodial interview and he declined and retained counsel,” the report says.
Officials have told Just the News that Greene was informed last month that the U.S. attorney's office in Washington, D.C., which is the primary prosecutor for Jan. 6 crimes, resisted prosecution due to the fact that it was not convinced that the federal judge would permit the case to go forward.
The Department of Justice is too busy chasing terrorist parents during school board meetings and focusing on ways to finance out-of-state abortions for its employees to be attentive to actual crimes or even to prosecute them.
This is a terrible precedent established in the DOJ. Jane's Revenge is threatening and firebombing pro life centers and pregnancy resource centers and even churches, but the DOJ is doing absolutely nothing.
However, Taylor Greene is doing what she excels at: keeping the controversy going. If anyone has the ability to ensure that the person responsible is held accountable, it's Taylor Greene. Taylor Greene chose not to make a statement on Just the News, and instead, she will statements on Tuesday.
