Underground Moms Group Exposes LA Public Health’s Plan to Return the Mandates County Docs Say Aren’t Required

While some areas of the country, including blue zones, are moving on from COVID hysteria as well as repeated visits on the COVID-related gravy train within Los Angeles and San Diego Counties, they're still celebrating as if it's 2020.

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Director, Dr. Barbara “Not That Kind of Doctor” Ferrer continues to deny positive results and tell lies about the figures to keep the COVID panic going. She's warned that it'll be necessary to extend the indoor mask mandate of the county because of the high amount of positive COVID tests when it's due to expire on July 29th. Without citing specific figures, Ferrer said in a press conference held on July 14:

“Covid is still one of the leading causes of death in L.A. County, Every day when I report out who dies, there are people who die who have no underlying health conditions. So no one should go into a space of saying, ‘I’m not at any risk.’ Because that’s just absolutely not true.”

The woman is a complete fraud, as the video from the “internal virtual weekly town hall” of Los Angeles County USC Medical Center (LAC+USC) doctors filmed on the same day will demonstrate.

We wouldn't have this data, which we are told Ferrer is able to access (“the figures”) in the absence of the effort of an unnamed group of LA-area moms who are tired of Ferrer and decided to expose the extent of a fraud she is. They released the footage of the LAC+USC doctors discussing the status of COVID as well as hospitalizations in the LAC and USC. The doctors mocked the notion that the COVID epidemic was taking place at Los Angeles County and that the hysteria that surrounded the issue was a result of media.

Dr. Brad Spellberg, the chief medical officer of the center, first spoke, and addressed Ferrer's “the numbers are going up” motto:

COVID positive tests have continued to go up, but this isn’t because we’re seeing a ton of people with symptomatic disease getting admitted. We’re seeing a lot of people with mild disease in the urgent care ED who go home and do not get admitted, and of those who are admitted, they’re 90 percent of the time not admitted due to COVID.

When they do go to the ICU, it is not for pneumonia. They are not intubated.

A lot of people have bad colds, is what we’re seeing,

Spellberg added she believes that the severe COVID disease hasn't been a problem since February. She also confirmed that they're experiencing the presence of autoimmune problems and electrolyte imbalances that are related to COVID. The CMO stated, “It is not the same pandemic as it was, despite the media hype to contrary.”

Really?

A doctor of epidemiology Dr. Paul Holtom, speaking in the second part, went farther (emphasis added):

Maybe we can turn to the media which is trying to burst [our] bubble by talking about yet a new variant that was described in India sweeping the country and now in the United States the numbers will continue to go up, and indeed, the numbers in many areas are going up….

Certainly, if the experience of our hospital is reflective across the county, which I believe it is…we’re just seeing nobody with severe COVID disease. As of this morning, we have no one in the hospital who had pulmonary disease due to COVID. Nobody in the hospital.

I guess it is hard to get a little more excited.

Holtom then addresses Ferrer's attempt to renew the mask mandate, saying that there is no reason to worry about hospitalization-due-to-COVID numbers:

Dr. Barbara Ferrer is expected today based on numbers to probably announce that LA County will go into a mask mandate situation for all indoor and large activities. That’s expected to be announced this afternoon, but we haven’t seen the final numbers that she may or may not choose to act on at that point. But certainly, there is no reason from a hospitalization-due-to-COVID perspective to be worried at this point.

Then, why does Ferrer require Angelenos to social distance and be muzzled?

Due to the leak of this video, it caused a lot of damage to Ferrer's attempt to silence the public and Ferrer was not happy. Thus, Los Angeles County USC Medical Center quickly intervened to try to control the story.

The LAC+USC Twitter account tweeted an anonymous letter with Health Services of Los Angeles letterhead. The first step is to reinstate the original storyline (COVID bad, forever Pandemic, get vaccinated/boosted and don't forget to wear a mask!) and to reverse the doctor's comments and conclusions.

On behalf of LAC+USC Medical Center, we would like to be very clear: the COVID-19 pandemic remains a very serious public health threat that we must continue to fight with every tool available, including vaccines, masking, social distancing, and treatment. While we are not currently experiencing an increase in ICU admissions at LAC+USC, we are seeing a significant increase in the number of infections among our patients, staff and the communities we serve. Rising rates of infection are extremely concerning, as the more people who become infected, the greater probability that ICU admissions for COVID-19 will rise in the future.

Like The Minority Report's prevention of crime, LAC and USC are letting you know that they're in the forefront of COVID prevention prior to it, and are on top of any emergency, even if the statistics show that there is no crisis.

Importantly, one of the reasons we are seeing low rates of ICU admission currently is due to high rates of vaccination across Los Angeles County. We would like to underscore the importance of remaining current on vaccinations and using common sense measures to protect against COVID-19 transmission and infection, such as masking and social distancing.

Every new study continues to show that there isn't any convincing evidence that mask-wearing can do anything more than provide the feeling of warmth and can cause difficulties with breathing and speaking. In her latest book, Dr. Birx reveals that she even admitted she invented a story about the use of masks as well as social distancing to alter the response to COVID. It appears that LAC and USC follow in her footsteps.

The unnamed letter writer gets right to the root of the issue the video which disclosed the Medical Industrial Complex fraud.

“The video that is being circulated online was taken from an internal weekly virtual town hall meant to provide our staff at LAC+USC an update on COVID-19 hospital admissions.”

This is not for you mass that haven’t been washed! How do you expose us?!

As was stated during the town hall, many patients are presenting every day to our Urgent Care Clinic and Emergency Department with COVID-19, reflecting extensive community transmission in Los Angeles County. Fortunately, most of these patients have mild disease—at this time—and do not require admission. The widespread vaccination coverage in Los Angeles County is critical to protecting against severe disease, hospitalization, and death.

If they're suffering from mild symptoms and don't need admission, why is there so much worry about hospital admissions or ICUs? If the vaccine program is running very well, any rogue spreading of COVID or even overwhelming the system must have been eradicated, right?

Talk about the contradiction of language.

Additionally, as a safety precaution for our staff and our other patients, all admissions to the hospital are tested for COVID, irrespective of the reason for admission. In the course of this testing, we are seeing a steady number of patients return a positive result. This is due to both high community transmission rates in Los Angeles County, as well as the fact that a person who has recovered from COVID-19 can continue to test positive on a PCR test for months, even when they are no longer actively infected.

What percentage of test results are fake positives? People are regularly tested for their jobs, and have received several positive results but when tested again, it's negative. From what I've observed, testing has only served one purpose in that it has increased the number of cases of COVID and increased anxiety and put the population in a constant state of fear and confusion.

The letter from LAC+USC goes on to analyze and contrast the COVID disease's peak from this winter to now, concluding that what the doctors in the video said is true. There isn't a risk of a crisis. There aren't any high-risk patients. The hospital isn't overcrowded.

However, the COVID critics need to remind that safety precautions must be implemented. Make sure you wear a mask. Make sure you have a booster. Social distance.

These facts should not negate the importance of vaccination and other COVID-19 safely measure, nor should they be used to promote baseless political arguments against such measures. Our doctors and nurses have been on the frontlines of the pandemic, many of them making personal sacrifices to ensure we continue to care for all patients even as the numbers rise.

“Baseless political arguments.” Doctors calling out the media's hysteria and hype is something that is political? Since when? It's just as risky to take resources away from COVID patients who actually need them, simply because people fearful of being sick are coming with the intention of being diagnosed for what could turn into a serious cold.

The next step is the cocky anger:

As we have repeatedly stated over the past two and a half years of our weekly town halls, we strongly support public health policies that encourage vigilance and common-sense precautions, like remaining current with vaccinations, social distancing, and wearing a mask in public settings. To use our weekly internal town hall to suggest such measures are unnecessary is fundamentally contrary to our position as a medical center.

You could hear Ferrer telling the LAC+USC management, “Say the line!” Based on Doctor Holtom's last statement on COVID at the town hall, it's likely that the doctor was not willing to endorse it with his signature. They are thought by the media as well as Ferrer to be constantly in a state of concern about COVID, but a person with a medical degree (as opposed Ferrer's) who studies epidemiology is not worried about it.

“I’m so tired about not being worried about covid for week after week. The very least we can do is bring up another potential pandemic and get worried about it, because at least that way we have something to be worried about.”

A former LAC+USC doctor weighs in and dismissed the BS.

In spite of the fact that there is no data or scientific evidence to support her claim, Ferrer went ahead and renewed the mandate for masks on Monday. It's good to know that this mom's group's work wasn't completed. They found a video from April 2022, of the non-science Ferrer basically stating they had an idea in place to get around the lack of cooperation by medical professionals.

Ferrer said:

“We have to continue to like, sort of figure out in the absence of having a strong national, or strong state response, how are we going to protect our workers.”

Oh, it's about “the workers.” The all-powerful unions still dictate the policy. In a more recent (March 2022) internal Zoom conference, Ferrer admits again: It's all about protecting the Almighty workers.

Follow the science, or rather the money.

On cue The two biggest schools districts in the United States, Los Angeles Unified and San Diego Unified, fell in lockstep and decided during summer school and the fall, all students have to be masked due to… the reasons.

In an interview with KUSI News about this new policy, San Diego USD President Sharon Whitehurst-Payne stated she believes that “safety has always been our number one priority for all of our students,” and that, in conjunction with concerns about “numbers and calls and concerned emails,” from unknown people “in the community” is the reason they will return to wearing masks.

But, what happens if Los Angeles or San Diego parents do not want their child wearing masks?

According Whitehurst-Payne, these are the choices:

  1. Your child is able to go to school via ZOOM.
  2. Your child may go pound sand and never return to school.

Could this be an attempt to rid the school of unsuitable parents and students that will file another lawsuit? LAUSD just was unable to win its last case regarding vaccine mandates. Perhaps they are trying to protect themselves from further lawsuits?

The advocacy group for children Let Them Breathe filed a lawsuit against SDUSD earlier and they're not afraid to try it again.

It's only been a few days and we'll examine how Los Angeles and San Diego follow this latest effort to undermine and limit rights and freedoms in order to protect their favored Big Labor cronies.

Meanwhile, the children aren't doing well and the parents have become angry and frustrated. This is not a great environment for trying to deceive and then trying to implement routine business with the usual mask intimidation.

This time, it's not going fly. Doctor Ferrer, Sharon Whitehurst-Payne and the remaining clowns better put on their waders in the event that the biological waste strikes the circular wind conductor.

November's coming.
