Biden Attempted to Deceive With Political Plea to the Saudis

OPEC+ recently decided to cut down on production by two millions barrels each day, despite White House appeals to increase production. This resulted in to the White House to become agitated. However, now there's more to the White House reaction that is quite alarming.

The Wall Street Journal reported, citing “people familiar with the talks,” that when they were informed that cuts could be on the way, the Biden Administration reached out to Saudi Arabia and urged them to press OPEC+ to delay the cuts until November, which is just before the midterm elections, so that they wouldn't be impacted. Americans then wouldn’t be feeling the impact of the cuts until after the elections. White House officials called the Saudi leader Mohammed bin Salman, and even Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen spoke to the finance minister.

The Biden team has been making numerous attempts to trick the public, however it's challenging to be much more openly politically than this.

In the report, the Biden administration also threatened the Saudis, saying that should they not receive an extension from OPEC+, they would see this as supporting Russia and it would harm our relationship with the Saudis.

The Saudis said told Biden’s team “no,” because they believed that the Biden team was trying to influence the elections and that It wasn't about the oil issue. Then they forced OPEC+ to reduce production. The Saudis also stated that they need to watch out for their economy, in the event that that the cost per barrel becomes too low.

Adrienne Watson from the National Security Council denied the claim that they sought a delay because of political motives. “It’s categorically false to connect this to U.S. elections,” Watson said. “It’s about the impact of this shortsighted decision to the global economy.”

However, Biden and the Democrats continued to follow through on the threat the Biden team had allegedly made regarding reevaluating their relations with the Saudis. We heard that the White House coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council John Kirby declared that. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) were both pushing to reconsider the relationship and put any negotiations associated with Saudi Arabia on hold.

The WSJ report also showed how Biden has damaged relations with the Saudis. Biden was supposed to go to Saudi Arabia in July to aid in repairing the relationship and to plead for oil, after he called the country a “pariah” because of the murder of Jamal Kashoggi. However, instead of improving the situation, the Saudis claim he actually made things worse.

If anything, said the people inside the Saudi government, the visit angered Prince Mohammed, who was upset that Mr. Biden went public with his private comments to the Saudi royal over Mr. Khashoggi’s death, which prompted Saudi officials to publicly contradict Mr. Biden’s characterization of their interaction. In August, the Saudis had planned to push OPEC+ to raise oil production by 500,000 barrels a day in an effort to please Mr. Biden, but Prince Mohammed ordered the increase lowered to a token 100,000 barrels a day after the Biden visit, the people inside the Saudi government said.

The U.S. State Department’s energy-security envoy, Amos Hochstein, sent the Saudi energy minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, an email that suggested he had broken his word promising a larger increase, people familiar with the matter said.

The email angered Prince Abdulaziz and strengthened his resolve to forge an oil policy independent of the U.S., the people said.

In September, Prince Abdulaziz engineered OPEC+’s first production cut since the pandemic, erasing the 100,000 barrels a day increase from August. Then, before the Oct. 5 OPEC+ meeting, Prince Abdulaziz called Persian Gulf oil chiefs and urged them to back a bigger cut, OPEC+ delegates said.

The Saudis began to be discontent with Biden due to his labeling them a pariah and also his plans to make agreements with their enemy Iran. Then Biden made it worse. To top it all off, Biden's team was determined to use the Saudis to trick us, but Saudis would not comply.

It's entirely plausible that they only cared about their interests and it wasn't about collaborating with Russia. However, now the Biden admin is trying everything in its power to threaten our security in the region because they're worried they could lose their ability to stay in power during the upcoming elections. It's a complete mess. This is the result of having idiots in charge of the government, who only care about their own power.

This wouldn't have happened were it not for the Biden team jeopardizing the oil production in our country.
