Another important Democrat person has been discovered to be under probe by the DOJ.
The Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, who is the chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is facing his second FBI investigation of the past decade. In 2015, Menendez was indighted in a bribery scam. According to reports, Menendez was being given luxury jets and private vacations for his help with government contracts. He wasn’t convicted in 2017, however, when the jury found itself in a deadlock and an indefinite mistrial was declared. This was yet another instance of the way Democrats cannot be questioned in left-leaning jurisdictions, something that has been made obvious over the past year.
As of now, according to Kadia Goba from Buzzfeed News, Menendez is under the scrutiny of the DOJ yet again, and an active criminal investigation is in progress.

Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York have contacted people connected to Menendez in recent weeks, the sources said. They have sent at least one subpoena in the case, according to a person connected to the inquiry.
An advisor to Menendez responded to a request for comment hours after Semafor published the original story. “Senator Menendez is aware of an investigation that was reported on today, however he does not know the scope of the investigation,” Michael Soliman texted Semafor. “As always, should any official inquiries be made, the Senator is available to provide any assistance that is requested of him or his office.”
It's not clear precisely what Menendez is accused of this particular time. The Senator was entangled in accusations of a child prostitution network in 2013 and it's possible that this has something to do with that. It's also possible that Menendez is being accused of a corruption scheme again.
If this was an issue for a Republican, it would be a prominent feature on the front pages of the media for at the very least a couple of days. So far, there have been a few brief articles about Menendez's situation, but there's been no mention on the major broadcast or cable networks, except for the right-leaning ones like Fox News. It's one of the advantages that comes with being Democrat, so it would seem.
Menendez has recently attempted to blame Saudi Arabia for the nation's energy problems, but he did not mention Joe Biden's effect the market and the disastrous policies of the Democrat Party that have caused the current price hikes. This is a good indication of his bias. He's the typical slimy Northeast politician, with an excessive sense of entitlement that thinks he is untouchable.
It's not a surprise to learn that Menendez is being faced with charges again. Based on the way things turned out the first time around, Menendez has no reason to be concerned about reprisals. If justice is truly executed in this case, it will be shocking since it appears that the DOJ and FBI only exist to “exonerate” Democrats, not make them accountable.
