Twitter’s CFO and CEO Have Left and Elon is Now in Charge

There have been several developments with regard to Twitter in recent days, and there are reports the possibility that Elon Musk would, in fact, complete his purchase of Twitter.

Musk is reported to be planning to cut the size of the workforce by as much as 75 percent.

The employees of the company sent an “open letter,” which stated their demands.

On Wednesday, Musk came into the office carrying a sink.

The next morning, he set the expectations of the site for advertisers.

On Thursday evening, CNBC's David Faber reported that Musk is officially in charge and that the CFO and CEO have left the premises for good.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and chief financial officer Ned Segal have left the company’s San Francisco headquarters and will not be returning.

Musk had until Friday to complete his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter or face a court battle with the company.

On Musk's Twitter account, he is now called “Chief Twit.”
