If you're depressed about the light-shaded people around you, there are people at Gettysburg College who have similar frustrations with people born with male sex organs who also coincidentally identify as being male.
Thus, a protest of sorts was planned at the private Pennsylvania school. In the context of a “Peace and Justice” senior project, the Gender Sexuality and Resource Center was scheduled to host a painting and writing contest for students who were “tired of white [cisgender] men.”

Based on Fox News Digital, the resultant artwork was to be on display in the dining hall.
An anonymous graduate told the media outlet that he felt “pretty upset.” As the only white graduate of the cisgender program, he found the notion shocking: “[T]he fact that basically people are being allowed to discriminate based on sexuality and race is not something that was ever…taught to me. … [T]he one thing Gettysburg used to always strive for was diversity, equity and inclusion but in an actual good way that you could have conservatives, you could have liberals, you could have actual conversations.”
The graduate is wrong about discrimination regarding participation in the event. As you can see from the titles of previous reports, a lot of white men are tired of white cis guys. As Gettysburg is a typical college, one would have expected an impressive turnout. However, the woke curriculum is currently being revamped.
The former student told Fox News Digital that he believes that the event was delayed because “they thought they were going to get away with it” until “it got shared on to an Instagram thing with two million people… And a bunch of people saw it, and they went, ‘What the heck?'” He added that he believes the incident sends a “negative” message to Gettysburg alumni and prospective donors.
More from the infamous melanin-missing male with male unmentionables: “I hope…they take this as a learning experience and push back on some of this wokeness…because the primary focus of school should be to educate the next generation and make sure that we have a society that continues to function and think critically.”
Circulars have been discarded, and the school has cleaned its hands of the initiative.
A spokesperson from Gettysburg College told Fox News Digital that the “college became aware of a flyer posted by students on the afternoon of November 10th” and that the “flyer advertised a senior project conducted by a student in the Peace and Justice Program…. The flyer was made for a student project and was never endorsed by the College or by Peace and Justice Studies,” the spokesperson stated. “The faculty leaders for Peace and Justice Studies have requested that the student[s] reflect on their objectives and restructure their project accordingly. The event is no longer taking place as scheduled or initially constructed, and the flyers have been removed.”
One senior isn't awed by the initiative's social conscience. “The faculty on campus always preaches unity among students on campus but never actually do anything to enact this unity.”
In terms of “unity,” it depends on your viewpoint. America is becoming more united against white cis males. And this doesn't depend on the events at Gettysburg College. The United States is in the midst of a great period of “enlightenment.”
