Greg Gutfeld’s Humorous Takedown of Leftist Culture During Day 2 of AmFest 2022

AmFest 2022 Day 2 is underway! In the general session in the afternoon, Charlie Kirk interviewed Greg Gutfeld, co-host of Fox News' The Five as well as the star of the popular comedy program Gutfeld!

Gutfeld first confronted the criticisms about Fox News and its lineup and those who claim that his ratings aren't legitimate since geriatrics are the channel's sole viewers. They deny that Gutfeld is at the forefront of popular culture, which is evident in his taking the top slot on the regular slate of late-night comedy programs.

“Fox has more younger people than CNN and MSNBC combined, and Comedy Central.”

Kirk asked Gutfeld what attracted viewers to his comedy program and The Five. Gutfeld explained that the secret to the chemistry between the two shows' casts is their ribbing, humor, and ability to have fun with one another.

“If you can’t make fun of somebody, and laugh at somebody, you have no chemistry. Dana [Perino], and Jesse [Watters], and myself [The Five] Kat Timpf and Tyrus [Gutfeld!], are really well-oiled machines,” he said.

“This is what is killing the Left: if you take yourself seriously, no one wants to be around you. The right is used to being made fun of. You can’t make fun of them.”

Gutfeld and Kirk followed up by diving into the madness of wokeism. Gutfeld unveiled his own parade of insanity: the former Army colonel who was celebrating his retirement with a series of photos of himself in full uniform wearing a dog-fetish mask. Also, the now-fired non-binary White House executive staffer, Sam Brinton, who snatched the clothes he wore to cross-dress after stealing women’s luggage in airports.

However, Gutfeld made sure to direct most all his fire towards the issue of the transgender agenda, with surgeries being forced on children who are effiminate or tomboys.

“That’s frickin’ Nazism. It’s insane. There are doctors, there are pediatric associations that are doing this. Where are the adults? Where are the people in your community? What happened that made us scared? We are living in a time of delusion.”

Gutfeld stated that the fight over private property and the battle to shield children from the transgender agenda are both mountains on which everyone should be prepared to fight to the death.

“There are certain fabrics of society that hold us together: one is protection of property, the other is biology. Where are the adults? We are handing rights over to victimizers and we are telling victims they have to endure it.”

Gutfeld provided a logical comparison, saying that the idea of wokeism is designed to function as a shield. He also provided an example of this. The American Girl doll manufacturer, which has charged astronomical costs for custom accessory dolls, has gone all-in on the promotion of transgender surgery.

“Follow the guilt. The Woke stuff is a shield to them being called greedy capitalists. This is to protect themselves from being the bad guy,” he said.

Gutfeld is also known for pointing out that his former producer and entertainment executive, Harvey Weinstein, was the poster child for this. The entertainment industry’s disgraced mogul donated millions of dollars to Democratic as well as leftist causes, all in order to conceal his long-running rape of women.

“He is the encapsulation of everything,” Gutfeld stated. “This is the symbol.”

Gutfeld and Kirk also discussed the changes Elon Musk has made to Twitter and the left’s alternative in the fight against Twitter: Mastodon.

“There’s nothing more pleasurable than watching the Left eat their own. Mastodon is the Big Meal.”

Kirk asked Gutfeld to share a few words for the younger crowd, who will be the ones to fight for the cause and keep up the battle for conservative values.

“When you’re outnumbered by others about something, ask them: Why is it important for you to have me agree with you? Why would I put myself through this, when I could just be you?”

Gutfeld pointed out that they should keep engaging and being involved, and they were lucky to have this organization. When he was their age, “It was just me, alone, at Berkeley.”
