It seems that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is, like the majority of us, an avid follower of the Twitter account Libs of TikTok. The account is run by Chaya Raichik, a former real-estate agent who is now the kryptonite of leftists all over the world. The account reveals the absurdities of woke users on social-media networks who flaunt their efforts to indoctrinate others, including youngsters, into their distorted ways of thinking. The appeal of this account is the fact that the creator simply holds up a mirror to the absurdity of it all and lets it speak for itself, adding a touch of humor to help put things into perspective. The account, launched in November 2020, has since built up a following of 1.7 million fans (not to mention the fury of the left for drawing attention to their insanity).
Because Chaya Raichik has been so successful in exposing the left for who and what they really are, she's naturally become their target. We can see from the unfolding “Twitter Files” the left's willingness to employ any and every means needed to disarm their critics and anyone they view as threats to their authority. One of the most insidious tactics they employ is doxxing, the method of publishing personal information online, likely in the hopes that an angry mob of thugs with jackboots will attack the offending individual and harass him or her into silence…or even worse. It's a disgusting type of “activism,” but that's only libs being libs. They target high-profile individuals such as conservative Supreme Court justices and “ordinary” citizens such as Chaya Raichik alike.
Amazingly, she was successful in keeping her identity and appearance secret for the first 18 months that her account was in existence, gaining a lot of attention as she exposed the numerous wrongdoings of the liberal left. All that changed in April of this year. The notoriously militant “journalist” Taylor Lorenz doxxed Raichik in an article in the New York Times, which forced Raichik's relocation for her personal security. To Lorenz’s chagrin, the Libs of TikTok account remained active, and her followers increased like loaves and fishes.
After chatting with host Tucker Carlson by phone multiple times during his nightly Fox News show, Raichik recently appeared in person on his Fox Nation show, Tucker Carlson Today. This was the first time she had revealed her face. This was notable in and of itself. However, it was the story she told of what transpired after she was doxxed by Lorenz that most shocked Tucker.
In answer to Carlson’s question regarding the help she had received after she had been doxxed, Raichik said that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) offered her and her family a safe place to stay. “When I was doxxed, someone from Ron DeSantis’ team called me. And she said, ‘The governor wanted me to give you a message. He said if you don’t feel safe—you or your family—if you need a place to go, to hide, to stay, you can come to the Governor’s Mansion. He said we have a guest house for you, and you can come and stay as long as you need.’”
After the video was posted, Raichik let her fans know that she was given the chance to express her gratitude to Governor DeSantis for his kindness, tweeting: “I recently got the opportunity to thank Ron DeSantis in person. He was so gracious. Brushed it off. He said ‘Of course! You do great work!’ It wasn’t even a question for him. Genuinely a kindhearted person.”
This gesture of kindness from DeSantis is a testament to his character as well as his determination not to ever bow to the woke crowd. It appears that he's discovered a comrade in Chaya Raichik, who has a spine of steel when confronting the ever-angry left. The most hilarious aspect of the Libs of TikTok account is that it simply exposes the left's actions and words and puts them on display for all of the Twitterverse (and beyond) to see; they cannot stand being exposed in this public forum and yet be unable to stop it.
