The absurd claims of Joe Biden and members of his equally inept administration that the border between Mexico and the United States is “secure” and totally not “open” have become so frequent that they've almost become routine, as have the innumerable instances of evidence to the contrary, such as the following example.
As thousands of illegal immigrants continue to travel towards the southern border, one contradiction of Lying Biden's lies is hilarious for its sheer bluntness. (The key term is probably “almost” secure.)
As reported by Ali Bradley, network correspondent for NewsNation, one of the soon-to-be illegal immigrants, a man from Moldova, took an Uber taxi from Tijuana, Mexico, to a U.S. border drop-off point.
The man told Bradley that he had been told that “the border is open.” He clearly did not inquire with the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, who regularly claims that the border between Mexico and the United States is secure (or closed). In her Twitter post, Bradley claimed that she also observed “migrants” from Russia and Cuba:
“AZ: 400+ migrants crossed into Yuma this morning—The ones I talked to say they are from Moldova, Russia & Cuba. One Moldovan man told us he took an Uber from Tijuana to this drop off point. He says he was told that ‘the border is open.’
“This,” she wrote Tuesday, “as Title 42 hangs in the balance.”
Bradley's mention of Title 42 came early in the morning, before a late-in-the-day Supreme Court ruling that denied Biden's request for the termination of Title 42. The order, initiated by then-President Donald Trump due to COVID-19 threats, barred illegal immigrants from entering the U.S. The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) will hear a challenge from several Republican states prior to making its decision, which is likely to take place in February or March of 2023.
In relation to Donald Trump and the southern border, the Trump administration’s border wall was being constructed at the time, alongside the “Remain in Mexico” plan, which required illegal immigrants to remain outside U.S. borders while their individual situations were being reviewed.
Note for Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas, who both should be impeached: The aforementioned actions taken by Donald Trump are how you protect a border, gentlemen. The other benefit? There's no need to make up a story about it.
In addition, the Supreme Court ruled in June that the Biden administration would be allowed to halt the Trump administration’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. It's all a bit of a mystery.
