Democratic Rep. Cori Bush’s Blast Against Republican Rep. Byron Donalds Exposes the Democrats’ Tunnel Vision

Leftist Squad member Cori Bush (D-MO) is the gift that keeps on giving to Republicans. And on Wednesday, she demonstrated that once again by making predictable and insulting remarks about Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL).

Donalds was nominated for Speaker of the House during the next Congress. The move directly challenges Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who at various times during the past several elections has been chosen by his fellow Republicans for the highest GOP House positions, most recently to the House Minority Leader post in 2020.

Rep. Donalds is supported by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who has helped in the fight against McCarthy’s easily stepping into the position of speaker and who, along with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) as well as others, has said there is no way to continue with the current system in the Republican party; the status quo needs to be reformed.

However, woke Democrat Bush is playing her role amid all the drama on the Hill—the latest instance being her bizarre criticism of Donalds.

On Wednesday afternoon, just as Donalds’ nomination, although unsuccessful, was putting significant kinks in McCarthy's plans, Bush took to Twitter to discuss her thoughts about the significance of his nomination to the speaker position.

In the end, she referred to him as an Uncle Tom:

“FWIW, @ByronDonalds is not a historic candidate for Speaker. He is a prop. Despite being Black, he supports a policy agenda intent on upholding and perpetuating white supremacy.

“His name being in the mix is not progress—it’s pathetic.”

We're sure to see other House Democrats being followed in the hallways by reporters seeking to find out whether they are in agreement with Bush's comments or not. Nope. According to Stephen L. Miller:

“Guessing @mkraju won't be strapping on the trainers and chasing down every Democrat in the halls to get their thoughts on this one.”

It's not surprising that Bush is perfectly content with black advancement in leadership roles… however, only if the person's name is attached with a “D.”

It's always the same song and dance for Democrats, is it not? They're known for their advocacy of the empowerment of minority communities; however, when they encounter someone who isn't like them and is deemed to be a traitor to the cause, that individual becomes an abomination to his or her gender, race, and heritage.

We've seen this happen on the national scene on several occasions with Democrats, such as the time that female supporters of Bernie Sanders were treated like traitors by those who call themselves “feminists” because they picked Sanders over Hillary Clinton.

They have never understood, nor will they ever understand, that it's disrespectful to select or choose someone because of their physical attributes (unless it's a modeling job or in a similar field in which appearance is an integral element of the job). It's what they bring to the table that counts, not their skin color, their male or female parts, or even their sexuality.

A reminder is needed every now and again that when Democrats discuss “diversity of thought” and “coexisting,” they are completely and absolutely full of you-know-what.
