It's not been a very good week for Joe Biden, with his classified documents scandal breaking into the public's mind. Attorney General Merrick Garland was required to appoint an attorney special counsel. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who is the new chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, opened an investigation that focused not just on Joe Biden's handling of documents, but also how the Justice Department responded and the reason why neither Congress nor the general public was informed about the matter for two months following the supposed discovery.
It appears that Biden was planning to take another weekend getaway to Wilmington, Delaware, to take a break from the constant questions. He didn't answer one of them before the day ended on Friday.
However, there was a problem. The White House had a difficult time this week, especially with Fox's Peter Doocy, who was hitting them hard and fast throughout the week. The first was that he nailed the president through the words he used to describe himself.
Then Doocy inquired about what they were trying to conceal and pointed out that Biden's remarks that he made on the Tuesday of his speech was “misleading at worst.”
She keeps on saying that she takes this “seriously,” as though just saying it is real. She claims that they implemented documents in the White House while still avoiding the fact that there aren't any in their Wilmington, Delaware, house. We can't reveal whom he's having meetings with or those who might have access to his house or classified documents that are inside his office as well as within the garage.
Then Doocy hit Biden himself for having classified documents, “What were you thinking?”
In light of the way Doocy exposed them and laid them out, it's not that surprising that Jean-Pierre insists on the transparency of their policies and refuses to provide any actual response to the issue Friday. She also did not even mention Doocy.
However, Doocy admitted on Fox News' “America Reports” the questions he would have requested if he was confronted. The truth is, it would have been a slap in the face and made her angry.
“Why is President Biden going to Wilmington today, isn't that a potential crime scene?” Oh my, how true. It's exactly right and, since the FBI isn't securing places or protecting things, we don't know whether a “crime scene” is secure and if things aren't perturbed. As Doocy said, the only thing they're telling us is “they take the matter seriously”-even when more documents keep being discovered, and we learn that they're hiding things.
What a mess.
