As we have reported, there was violence within Atlanta on Saturday. Antifa attacked police officers, the Atlanta Police Foundation Building, as well as other businesses and police vehicles in protest of the murder of Manuel Teran. Teran was killed by police after he allegedly shot a cop, and they retaliated in self-defense. The police were trying to move the location of a new training facility that leftists called “Cop City” and have been living in for several months. There have been numerous arrests of terrorists from the United States linked to the location.
The Atlanta mayor claimed that during the Saturday riot, some of the protesters were carrying “explosives.” The police said that six people were detained following Saturday's rioting.
It wasn't the sole incident of violence linked to the Cop City site. There were also violent incidents in Boston involving children of House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA).
Police were notified of a disturbance at the Parkman Bandstand monument in Boston around 9:15 p.m. After that, several officers saw Jared “Riley” Dowell, 23, smearing the monument using spray paint. The graffiti reads, “NO COP CITY” and “ACAB” (All Cops Are Bastards). ACAB is a popular Antifa slogan.
As the police attempted to take Dowell away, they were met by around 20 protesters who shouted profanities and attempted to hinder Dowell's arrest. During the arrest, a policeman was hit on the face and began bleeding from his nose and mouth.
Dowell was detained and charged with “Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Destruction or Injury of Personal Property, and Damage of Property by Graffiti/Tagging,” according to the police report.
Clark admitted that Dowell was her daughter.
“Last night, my daughter was arrested in Boston, Massachusetts,” Clark said. “I am a huge fan of Riley and this is an extremely difficult period in the process of joy and sadness of parenting. This will be assessed in the court system and I'm sure of the process.”
Clark stated that her child was her “daughter,” so it is possible that Dowell is now identifying herself as a woman.
Perhaps the issue is in the way you encourage such extreme behavior and fear within your children, instead of telling them that's not a good way to go. Maybe they wouldn't be able to turn into police officers and be detained for committing violent acts against police.
